Itchy Scalp
12 Answers
Hi like many I'm overdue a hair cut.
My hair is washed 3/4 times a week..its a short style.
My scalp has got very itchy and I've discovered there seems what I can only describe as a baby's "cradle cap" like a crust on the top of my head..I've no was of seeing it..
Any suggestion what I can do to stop the itching and hopefully get rid of the crust.
Many thanks

It is now on (and in my) ears, the fingers of my right hand and a small (thankfully) patch in the groin area. I use medicated shampoo which, although not eradicating the Psoriasis, does calm the itching for a spell. I also use Betnovate cream on the other areas. If your condition persists, a trip to the docs is in order.
3 to 4 times a week....unless this is a very mild shampoo, you could be washing too much...as bad as not washing enough.
I can thoroughly recommend this Eucerin product - not cheap but effective and lasts for ages. You apply it after shampooing and just leave it on.
