Facebook's driving me mad lately, I keep 'hiding' posts that are of no interest to me & the next time I check in on FB they're back!!!, also, I can't believe the amount of Advertising I'm getting!, it's worse than ever!!! Is it just me? Tia

I left FB and *** over a year ago. Best thing I ever did. They're no good for your mental health.

I tried FB once, big mistake!! Even though I tired to leave, my page hasn't entirely disappeared even though I haven't added to it for many years. I keep getting messages from them to up-date, of course I just ignore.

I find giving a reason why you’ve hidden it and then clicking ‘do not show me this again’ (not the exact wording) is more successful.

It drives me mad too. I love Facebook and keep in touch with lots of friends but the adverts are so annoying and as you say, posts which I have deleted often come back. It’s very irritating but I don’t know what to do about it either.

I've used this for 18 month now and its relly good. It gets rid of al adverts, gives you the choice to remove 'you may know these people' and much more. I was a bit dubious t first but I've had no spam or extra emails because of it, all you have to do is occasionally update it as FB gets a handle on it now and again so they have to write different code to get round the blocks.
