38(D) Escape from resort, touring around (5) Begins with S and ends with A?
10 D. The definition is the first two words in the clue. The split in the answer is 1,6. 'Say' gives the usual two-letter abbreviation.
16 A - a common word for 'judge' assess, consider. Reversed it can mean 'reward'.
38. Yes. A three letter resort with a two letter abbreviation for 'around' inside.
12. Think royal families, dynasty.
