from Asda.
Just for information.. we had been using their website to book a c&c slot, which was pretty successful, but then changed to using their app instead and have found great difficulty in getting anything booked. The vast majority are showing as ‘taken’.
Talking to our neighbour yesterday, she said how great it is, and easy, to get a slot with Asda now that things have calmed down. She uses the website not the app.
So we goes on the website and guess what...loads of both slots available!
The moral here is if you’re trying to book c&c or home delivery with Asda, go through the website, don’t use the app.

I use the app, and haven't had much trouble booking home delivery. What I do, is book as slot far in advance, fill it with £40 worth of essentials, and then when it comes to a couple of days in advance of the slot, amend the items to my needs. If i don't need the slot, i cancel it, no harm, no foul.
I have noticed the same thing with Asda, I use the website rather than the App

That’s what we do mozz, although we do click and collect and there isn’t a minimum spend needed to reserve it. It’s getting a slot which has been very difficult since changing to the app.
I’m glad it’s not just us then purist, thought maybe we were doing something wrong.
