When nurse Leona Harris realised the trauma felt when coronavirus patients are alienated from loved ones, she set about raising money to buy tablets so that patients could keep in touch via video calls, fantastic idea! If you are able to donate at all? Thank you.

sorry, no. it is a good idea, but as i don't live in Bury i would rather donate to something local. I also have past experience of Simpson Millar and would not touch anything they do with a bargepole

That's fine bednobs, thank you.
I can't at the moment, but it's a great idea.
Maybe she should talk to suppliers about refurbished tablets.

That's a familiar coffee cup you've got ;)
Brilliant idea but JG is getting some bad press of late , taking their cut , but the idea itself is really nice

You remembered pasta, been quite open about it though. Regards refurbished tabs, health & safety may be? x
They do Bobbie? I didn't know that. Overheads?
Admin fees I think, I believe there was some controversy re Captain Toms fund
Question Author
Well I suppose it depends how much of a cut. The captain's fund raised quite an amount didn't it Bobbi, though that should have been waived for that particular cause.
I’d heard they had then they didn’t, I’ll see if I can get a link Eleanor

By the way, it’s a wonderful thing happening wher you are x

I watched the nurse Leona Harris being interviewed on the local news, she said the tabs are making such a difference to patients who haven't had face to face contact with loved ones. I can't imagine.
