For some reason, I only drink liquor around Christmas. Right now, I'm sampling a can of so-called "craft' beer which my sister bought for me. It's called, I kid you not, "Flying Monkey Sparklepuff", and is a triple IPA with 10.2%ABV. It tastes like there is grape-fruit in it...Anyway, the alcohol content is fine with me:)

So much for my sense of taste. I just read the can and it says that the beer contains "A payload of smashed summer peaches for cushions of fierce malty fluff behind a force-field of malty hops."...Beam me up:)

I used to hate gin (one night on g and t's 30 odd years ago). But I've discovered the craft gins made in smaller stills. Love cucumber gin or elderflower. Thankfully we have a still 2 doors down. :)
