Without going into the nitty gritty I bought above 14" portable TV with video. The person I bought it for doesn't want it - I paid £60 for it. Before I bring it to the recycle dump - would anybody know of any person who could use it. Thanks

You need to ask this in a group local to you, such as Freecycle or a local facebook page.
You might have to hang on to it for a while, Freecycle and others have suspended services until the drama's over.
Do you mean video as in tape or dvd disc?
Question Author
video as in tape
Oh dear, videos are now obselete JJ, but someone might want one for playing or converting old tapes. Best thing you can do is to resell it in whichever way you bought it. Was that on ebay? Or local ad?

Maydup - know videos are obsolete but people still use them, like myself - I've loads of videos, video player is downstairs and DVDs are upstairs - I positively hate the DVDs.

I won't be reselling it - it is in my car and I will have to get stuck into clearing it and cleaning it - the car - it's the worse ever.
Why are you getting rid of it JJ?
Maybe a care home nearby would like it?

the person I bought it for doesn't want it, maybe my post is confusing.

I have my own video

And also DVD player so I don't need it.

I'm sure there is some person out there would be glad of it. I had been thinking of a Homeless centre but I contacted them last week and they never replied. Everybody has these new TVs. I'll just put it down to bad luck.
You will be able to sell it. People are still looking for video players and they are impossible to buy new.

right Barry - I want to give it away so instead of dumping it I will put it into my shed in the meantime.
You paid £60 for a portable TV with VHS tape recorder? Jesus you've been had good and proper. I would try and sell it on EBay, someone who collects vintage stuff might be interested.
If you didn’t want it or need it why buy it?
Question Author
if you would read the post - I bought it for somebody. please read
Hope you find a home for it JJ.
