I am not allowed to sit on a park bench alone in the sun due to safe distancing regulations.
120 people sat on a plane with no vacant seats yesterday on a flight to London.

Indeed. Couple that with the increasing number of suggestions that the chances of contracting the virus from someone simply passing close by are vanishingly low, the idea that SD is necessary in case a passer by coughs or sneezes as they pass is a bit OTT. If the country is to return to work (which it must) this idea must be radically modified. It is simply not possible to maintain a 2m exclusion zone around everybody in all but a very small number of circumstances.
