Yes I must be an idiot,
I just don’t get it over 22,000 deaths in England due to the virus,
And the topic for discussion by the cricketing bodies,
Is the possibility of games against India and Pakistan,
In less than 6 weeks time,
Surely we have more sense than to allow this?
If it does go ahead and more deaths as a result of this we would be back to square one.

Jordy you are not an idiot -just someone without a 'filter' who often posts what a lot of people are thinking but dare not say -then you get deleted lol! There are over 30,000 UK deaths now and I think its disgraceful that any sporting events should take place -how many people contracted the virus by going to football matches and horseracing in March? That's what...

It just goes to show the priorities in this country, the football has been mentioned on and off for the last few weeks, should the government be crazy enough, and dumb enough to even give this the time of day at the moment they will be totally nuts. Should it happen then you will get drunken garden booze ups.
Germany is letting their equivalent of the premier league sides restart later this month. That won't happen here.
If and when it does restart here it'll be behind closed doors. A few games may be televised so there may be some football garden booze ups if people have a TV in their garden for the few televised games, but pubs are unlikely to be open.
I go to football matches and just don't see the marauding fans you seem to see- I see mainly families and good natured adults, often age 60+. The only drunken football fans I see are when England play on the continent

Thanks jno for the links,
I spent an hour trying to find where I had read it,
As I don’t think Chico believed me.
Well he said he didn’t understand what I was on about
