It's been used a few times and the service is not too bad.
Like all insurers though they stick the premium up every year but a quick phonecall sorts that.
Their latest wheeze though to "keep premiums low" is to charge a £60 callout/excess on every new call.
When we get a new boiler with a 10 year warranty they may be sent packing.
We were with homeserve for everything except central heating cover but when my husband died they were the only company I dealt with who were obstructive and unhelpful at a time when I really did not need it so I switched to all BG and am very happy with them.
