What do dreams really tell us?I write down my dreams and nightmares and I’ve read them back and I’ve realised the last 6 are all nightmares and the similar things happen but in all 6 there’s been people telling me to kill myself quick is it a sign?

I agree that you are having anxiety dreams and you should see help. Why are you keeping a dream diary anyway?
[the only time I found dreams a pain in the arriss was when I repeatedly dreamt I didnt have cancer - - - when I did - it got in the way of coping with the present, the tmt, the radiotherapy and op]

The received wisdom is that dreams are the mind's way of making sense of what it is experiencing.
I have had vivid dreams and nightmares for as long as I can remember - some of them so surreal as to defy the language to describe them.
I have never ever felt the slightest inclination that they 'mean' something, I simply accept them, and enjoy the nice ones, and try to get past the nasty ones.
I don't believe they bring 'messages' of any kind, and I would suggest that you don't believe that either.
You may be anxious about something, so as advised, seek some assistance, but don't think about 'acting' on your dreams for a moment.
