Got my second click and collect tomorrow.

Forgot to check or uncheck substitute box, again.

Rang customer services to ask if it was possible to amend order.

Was told not to worry as any unsuitable items , the value of which would be refunded.

I asked if these could be returned to the store. She said no, at the moment returns are not accepted.

Seems a strange policy which could be open to abuse.

I could be wrong but I think this is their general policy anyway, not just now. The same for home delivery items, they just tell you to keep it and don’t charge you.
We have found them to be fairly generous at the moment. A while ago when stocks were low I ordered tinned peas. They didnt have any so they deducted the cost but threw in an extra bag of carrots. Same for salad. They didnt have the bag of green salad I ordered so they sent a different one and lettuce for good measure.

Its very easy to go into the order after you have received it and request a refund on an item you either didnt receive or dont accept. Although I havent done that myself as part of the fun is seeing what you get and making use of it.
