I have, out of necessity, started shopping in store again which can be pretty stressful.
if Supermarkets produced plans of their stores, showing where groups of things are, you could do A shopping list based on location of the items which might make things quicker, safer, and less stressful?

I know a lot of people (my wife included) know roughly where things are But judging by my visit yesterday, a lot don’t.

Sheesh, people fighting for their life in ICU, and your stressed about shopping. And some having to risk their life going to work to find the money to go on that stressful shop.
teacake, my local huge Tesco has very outdated overhead signs that give the wrong information so you can't rely on them to find what you want. The move the items but not the signs.
Some people (mainly men) are having to shop having never set foot in a supermarket before.
It is stressful knowing you have a very vulnerable person at home but have to be around people who simply won't keep their distance.

It is very stressful to find that that essential item you have always bought from that supermarket is not available (dispersible aspirin for a serious heart condition).

You might not find supermarket stressful in the current conditions stressful but many do. Just saying.
TCs thinking of other people today Zac but doesn’t mind flouting the stay at home laws or wanting something back from putting into a charity
Sweet :0)

Indeed, Bobbi. I’m leaving the kids to play on their own today. See ya on the flipside.
teacake is obviously stressed, APG.
Then you get folk going to stop in log cabins for long weekends with other people when they've been advised to stop at home, but no I'll squeeze a last holiday in.
Zacs, will you be wearing jeans and a T-Shirt on your next supermarket manoeuvres operation or full camouflaged combat gear?
10.56 I'm all good never stressed, only get a little upset about the stressed nurses and doctors who still don't have PPE. Now that is real stress.
Splutter :0)))))
So pleased it was remote on the 21st March
Barry your post 10.45 was spot on. Some people who can't get home deliveries, and those who normally never shop ( usually men ha ha sorry) can get overwhelmed in stores, especially when thy are getting pressured to 'move along'. If an A4 map was provided at the door it would make life so much easier.
APG, I will never forget seeing an elderly gentleman in tears in the middle of the Co-Op supermarket in the 70s. He had not long lost his wife and did not have a clue how to do the shopping. He was totally overwhelmed.
Remote, with two other people from different families, of course that's ok for me but not others. :0)))))))))))
