thank you all. they were all such good answers it was hard to choose one best answer, but I would never ever have got bookbinders answer myself.

As a matter of interest, I seized on 'ear, nose and throat' as being 'ent', so, all that I had to do was to find a baby farm animal to go in front of 'ent'.
