Tv News

In CB since I don't want it to be about any particular story (certainly not THAT story).
I've been following the news even more closely than usual over the last few months, and find that my "Broadcaster of First Resort" has changed.
If you'd told me a few years ago that I'd always turn first to Sky News for accurate, unbiased and interesting coverage I would have laughed like a drain - but that's exactly where I find myself today.
It has reinvented itself as a channel with real gravitas and easily eclipsed all the other roilling news channels (especially the increasingly partisan and useless BBC News), but its prime time bulletins are also much better than the bulletins on the main four channels - BBC seems pedestrian and ineffective, ITV is skint and just relies on Peston Waffle far too often and C4 is just anonymous.
Who (if anybody) on TV News do you trust?

We've not tried Sky news, (yet) tried CNN for a few days, then Fox.
Fox aren't, or don't seem to be, as fawning to Trump as has been alleged.
Sticking with Fox for the moment, they report on things world-wide.
They have a lot of 'contributors' they wheel out, some are more interesting than others.

Sky News is my go-to channel. I usually keep it on mute though and only turn the sound up when I see something interesting on the tape that runs along the bottom of the screen.
I’m getting a bit fed up with seeing the story you didn’t want to mention, S-D. No doubt the papers will be full of reports and various interpretations tomorrow.
