Hayfever

It seems much worse this year, is that just down to an extended period of good weather?
Also, antihistamines seem to not to be working. When I've taken antihistamines previous times, they have controlled my hayfever.

been bad here too..despite fexofenadine max dose..beconase nasal and ripital eye drops...have vaseline up nose and wrap round sunglasses...

Yes it has been one of the worst years I can remember for a while and seems to have started much earlier as well this year. Oh, for some rain, which seems to help. I find Morrison’s own brand of hayfever tablets help.

I've experienced worse years, but find I'm less affected as I age; but still sneezed quite a bit this year. Pollen count high again today apparently.

been bad here too. I think its not just because of high pollen but the lack of rain means that its dustier outside and nothing is getting damped down/washed away.

I've been bothered by it. Not suffering, but my nose knows. When I walk Sammi, he LOVES to kick back the dirt and grass. I think we come back with him covered in pollen...I start feeling snuffly and scratchy when we get indoors. Like now...:(

eleanor2 I don't know if you live in a high-frequency Covid pos area but maybe you should book a test anyway.
My daughter's friend suffers hayfever every year. This year it was a bit worse and the antihistamines didn't work.
Her employer sent her to be tested for Covid and she tested positive. The only symptoms she has had are the hayfever symptoms.
It might be worth making the phone call and asking for advice at the very least.

My 11 year old grandaughter is suffering badly too. She has had allergy tests so they know it is the grass pollen that is affecting her. She's got antihistamines prescribed by the doctor. Only been able to see her via Face Time up to now.
