George Floyds death is tragic and should never have happened. And one can but hope proper justice is done. Not lip service and not a witch hunt. But I truly fear that even if they hung him from a tree as a symbol it wouldn’t be enough.
But the level of media is to my mind over the top. It is inciting violence, criminality and destruction. Stop feeding the mob.

To what ends are they protesting? It's not a British matter, so I don't see what they hope to achieve. Sou ds like an excuse to get out into the sun.
As long as they stay peaceful, no worries. Uness they want to nick them for not self-isolating, that could be doable. Maybe they can protest by Zoom instead.

Not much Naomi. Only quote I could find was this in the Independent from before the protest started.
//Just before Trafalgar Square filled up, London mayor Sadiq Khan tweeted: “Lockdown has not been lifted. The virus is still out there.” He advised people to stay at home as much as possible, keep a social distance when outside and avoid public transport.//
I'm not on ***, so can't tell you if he's tweeted anything since.
