Facebook On An Ipad.
10 Answers
I've come across an old friend on Facebook who I would like to chat to on messenger but she can't figure out how to do this. I only have a computer which I find easy to use so I can't explain to her how to access the message I sent to her. Can someone explain to me in a very easy way how to message on an iPad please? I'never even seen an iPad so don't know what the icons would look like for messages.

When I'm on Facebook on my computer, at the top of the page it says my name, then Home then Find Friends then Create. There are then some little icons that when I hover over them say Friend request, Messages,Notifications, Quick help and and arrow pointing down.
To send someone a message I go to their page and at the top it says message which I click on. This opens up a box at the bottom of my screen that allows me to type a message and then send. I've never had to download anything, it's always been there, so how can I explain to someone who is using an iPad and in her own words not technically literate how she can see the message I've sent?
If you use an iPad how do you access your messages?

As I'm not using aniPad, I don't see the relevant button when I visit thhat link but she should see a button labelled something like 'Install' or 'Download'. To the best of my knowledge the process wil then be automatic (just as it is on an Android device), resulting in a new 'Messenger' icon appearing on her desktop.
When she clicks on that icon, she should then be invited to complete her contact details.
