New Deawing

Here's the latest - first a pic then the drawing - the house empty and rather sad though a little restoration is being done.....it's the main house to where I am based.......

That picture (the drawing) reminds me of the work of an ex pupil of mine....and I love her work...the detail is great. I am always paricularly impressed by accurate depictions of places and things .... and no I can't draw a straight line with a ruler! Do you use your images for cards, sell them, ????

Mally, I do sell some of them - commissions usually go for around 650-750...plus I can get stationery made for cards/postcards - the printing technique, Giclée, allows for super A3 to come down even to business cards and not lose the detail, unlike laser copying. The print market is sometimes the best way to go (churches for weddings or pubs/hotels) as it can be more profitable than selling the original.

Sounds as if you have a business there...Craft markets were (before the lockdown) a good outlet too. We did Greenwich market for several years as well as others
