Depends on a lot of things.
1.46GHz is the speed of the CPU, so higher the better in theory, but different makes of chip perform better than others. Then you need to look at memory and storage sizes and speeds etc etc.
So.... in general, the 1.66GHz would be faster, but not necessarily.
the larger number 1.66 ghz (1.66 x 10 to the power 9) is obviously faster but 1660000000 cycles/ second clock speed is still comparably slow considering upwards of 3ghz is now available, not much use unless you use it to vibrate a big metal pole and stick it up your backside. mmmmm..
just fished paper out the recycle so heres other info lol.1.46ghz has intel celeron m 410 processor and the 1.66ghz has duo t2300e processor,both have 1024 mb ram and 80gb hard drive.hope this helps thanx.as u may guess am very new to technology lol
