Doggy Question
17 Answers
My son has just got a lovely puppy. 10 weeks old. My son has parquet floors and I suggested he puts doggy booties on her, but he is a bit worried they may stunt the growth of her paws as with the ancient chines ladies, Lotus Feet. Obviously we would get the appropiate size, but they are soft like socks, not solid. What is your opinions ?

This place sells bundles of cotton tuft mats with rubber backs that can be laid temporarily and gardually removed as the dog grows up. They don't look classy but better than injuring your dog for life. My opinion is that boots are a dumb idea. http:// www.spl endidpe ts.co.u k/dirt- trapper s-c12#c 63
I put these down on the conservatory floor (tiled) for mine. They aren't pretty but they are cheap enough to be discarded when the need for them is past. great for absorbing water when pups comes in soaking wet.

mine were fine as adults Bobbi, but we covered the kitchen floor when they were pups...sadly after Rab did a bambi and hurt his shoulder. He's had problems with it throughout his life so lesson learned. Shughy, who died recently became unsteady on his feet as he got old and again I covered the slippery bits of floor.
