Dr Google Has Failed Me Aka I Ache All Over
4 Answers
Preamble : I accept this is not medical advice and I will see a doctor when all this lock down is over.
If I sit down for more than a few minutes I ache like hell when I get up. This has been going on for a while now. My hips, back knees and shoulders. If I get up from a chair in the living room it's agony but by the time I've walked to the kitchen it's practically gone. I am not over weight , I am 60 and I try and take a 2 mile walk each day ( which by the end I feel fine ) I have been taking glucosamine for years ( ! which seems debatable if it does anything ! )
Has any one had similar and has any advice - apart for never stop moving around or stop growing old :-)

I am not a fan of glucosamine in the treatment of arthritic disorders.
Your symptoms do sound rheumatic in origin and from what you describe are transient.
You can either live with your symptoms or take Ibuprofen 400 mgms first thing in the morning with your breakfast and then monitor the situation for the next few weeks.
If there is no improvement then see your doctor who will arrange some blood tests.
