I have a vodaphone and i also get delivery reports, however i've noticed that i text one particular friend they always take ages to deliver. He's on orange, but i have other friends on the same network and it doesn't happen with. Does anyone know why this happens - and i'm talking hours or sometimes even days to deliver - his phone isn't switched off or anything, just take ages getting thru - any ideas?

Yeah,that's happened to me too. I'm on vodaphone as well,but if I text my mate who's on O2 it sometimes takes days for him to get it.Other times,he gets them straight away.

some networks accept texts from other networks quicker than others, it all depends on what message center number u are using
