What A Performance!!

Logged into bank account, mistyped password. What a problem that caused.
Had lots of messages, telephone passwords, nothing worked. I rang the bank, nice lady tried to help. Talked me through lots of the stuff. She had to delete my current account and I had to reregister. That took ages but eventually I did it with new passwords etc. Very nerve racking. I was amazed when my current account came up with all my history there and other accounts attached. I had started to wonder if I would have new details and need new cards etc. But thankfully all seems ok. Don't want to go there again, I will take care typing passwords etc now.

I remember when mobiles first introduced biometrics to prevent users having to log in to the phones themselves, which was bad enough, but also as a hook that applications could call to bypass their own login!
Do not, under any circumstances, allow your on-line banking to let you in by identifying you by your fingerprint, retina scan or anything else. Remember, at that point, your bank itself is not verifying that you are who you say you are - they are asking your mobile phone to do that!
