The NWT police were obviously not up to the job and were easily misled ( misled themselves)
Joanne Lees was a bit strange but that doesnt mean that what she said wasnt true ( oops 2le neg there) - and there was no sign of Falconio ever - er well wasnt there a great blood stain . Did they test it?
M said to another con. "I know how to conceal a body - you hide it in a storm drain" and all the storm drains ( along 1000 mi) were searched. In the prog it came out as a mudpool beside the road after a downpour
M also apparently ( and this damned him to the WHOLE of Oz) pointed at the viddie of the fella at the service station and said: "that is not me" - no mate, that is not me
and everyone in Oz knew he had done it
I wondered about the previous charge 'just to get DNA' - I thought there were rules about partitioning this sort of thing
he was charged - and then disappeared - which you dont do usually
and he = = = = shot his dog

even I - tolerant Peter that is! - wondered about:
"well here is the press conference you agreed to Joanne"
joanne for it was she: I only agreed if there were no press present!
about 50 ockers: "jeez what did that shy-ler just say - no press? we gotta live and we live by copy. Only a pom would come with that sh.... etc etc"

I've only seen the first two episodes .... but I don't like Lees one bit. Eleven days after the event she asked the media to respect her privacy and allow her to get on with her life. Get on with her life? Eleven days after her own terrifying ordeal and her boyfriend presumably murdered? A speedy recovery!!
Apparently ( Falconio ) he had mentioned to another person how many people had faked their own deaths to claim insurance. No payouts yet I believe as no death has been proved.
Plus apparently Bradley’s dog was alive when he is supposed to have committed the crime. Lees said she ran into the desert for 10 minutes. But it was proved she hid only 35 mtrs from the road. The dog would have found her in 30 seconds.

she said the dog sniffed around her but didnt 'hit' - in fact M kept it to bite non payers in drug deals so perhaps the mutt thought it was above its pay grade. And the trackers DID find a fresh dead dog. (M: "you shoot the dog and just get another one" - the Beast!)
and there was no track sign of Falconio - er the blood? -
we dont see the stuff on the floor and the two truckers who picked her up were phazed by the q we didnt hear
Did you think she was pretending or had put the uffs on herself?
No mate - she was as scared as could be - we saw she was in real trouble and picked her up. we cut off the tapes and then though we better keep them so we did - they all said we had done everything OK
I felt sorry for them as they werent expecting that slant
and they did a mock up splatter test and they way they did it =
woo-hoo she would have been splattered with blood and guts !
The appeals were so groundless that they applied to the judge to declare that old info really was NEW info. so there were two special appeals which went over old stuff pretending it was new
