golden loop cafe
Rocky Mountain National Park?
Ooops. The Rocky Mountain National Park opened well before 1954 - However, The Hidden Valley Ski Area opened in 1954. Anything to do with that?

Thanks but no, the answer I am looking for is for a small town bar & grill type establishment. Some place that you would go to drink beer & play pool.
newbienewman,
I dont know what year it opened, however, I did find Woody's Tavern, 221 S Main Moab UT 435.259.9323. Its a bar with pool table, and from the pictures Ive seen its the same one the "fellas" go into to play pool.

I dont care what everybody else thinks, you scratch my back I'll scratch yours. You wouldnt happen to know the answer to #2 would you?

Joe
Why don't you get it? If you are a participant in the Marlboro contest, asking for and giving away answers can be detrimental to YOUR success in the contest! Here's an example for you: Let's say I had all of the questions correct except for #19. Now you've just given me the answer to that one. So you have either made me the winner or added one more person to the tie-breaker pool. Either way, you have given YOURSELF more competition.

Fibonacci .... why don't you join a team .... either way it would give ABers a break?

And Fibonaci ..... why are you so bashful and decline to answer the question directed to you by JennLKaiser ....

Please, tell me how is it you know so much.... so much

joeschmoe~ Thanks a bunch! And despite some people's thoughts on the subject, I feel that there are a couple of possible answers for enough of the questions that it really doesn't hurt to share a couple of answers with one another. I figure the ones like the one your asking about are going to be the winning questions from your own interpretations.

My vote for questions #2 is for The Battle of LIttle Big Horn

This is my answer - sure hope it's right.... if I'm not mistaken I think I was pointed in that direction somewhere on this site. I would be curious to know what you think too though.

I can also say that I have also been to the Ranch before & if you have never been, it's a treat/prize worth fighting for! Good luck & hope to see you there :)

Is the answer to Marlboro #2 "Dallas Divide"
She's Right, a trip to the ranch and the prizes and cash involved are well worth the research. I have been to 2 summer ranches and hopefully in June I will be going for my 3rd. My husband won a trip and then we were finalists for OWTW2 last year. The lady that won only won by 2 questions. That is 2 questions between someone else that was there and a Million dollars. We don't know who was 2nd place, but you can bet your a** that I'm not giving 1 answer out. 2 questions is very little to lose by.

BTW-I think with the current exchange rate that is a little less than 2.5 million pounds!!
How can the battle of little bighorn be the stones you have to cross to get to cow country?....*referring to #2*... shouldn't it be a mountain of some sort...cause I got Mount Diablo for this one, don't recall what site, but I remember a lot of the trails over the mountain said something about cows and watch out for the cows...it's worth checking out don't ya think?

as far as #19, I am trying to research the diner where the man that ordered the Albuquerque Turkeys, after all he is the one who got the *old* quarter on the DVD, so I am thinking it is that place they are talking about
have created a forum specifically for the Marlboro Outwit the West challenge. Please go there. All of the questions have been created as topics. Feel free to put in what your ideas are even if you don't know the answer. Me personally, I wouldn't just take someone's word for it. I'd take their idea and then research it to make certain it is correct.
