P.S. I see from the posts that many of you are somewhat aggravated with these contest questions, and I can somewhat understand since this is a UK site. But we are not doing anything against the rules, and we apparently are not as smart as you guys! So please just bear with us. The contest is over in December.

Puff - perhaps you would explain what you mean by your post as I for one cannot understand what you are getting at. It is a FACT that Marlboro questions are being duplicated all over the AB site. Last night (UK time) I searched the site to see if a question that had just been posted had been asked and answered previously - it had, not just once but at least three times from the very cursory search I made.

Personally I would love to see the rules of this competition as I am getting totally fed up with Marlboro questions so far away from the closing date. Are all Americans as impatient as those who have come to this site within days of receiving the questions, expecting hints and answers when it is very likely that, with patience and diligence, most answers can be found? I hope not.

dearmont .... you may not understand the annoyance to many ABers about the intrusion of the Malboro Quiz .... the repeated questions etc .......... BUT

You are a coarse mouth and you positively increase negativity by being obnoxiously RUDE to fellow ABers, using cheap words.

Cathy112, as an American who is also in this contest I have to agree with you on one thing. It is very frustrating when you are going in and out of websites searching for answers to these clues, finding them on your own and then find out someone who was too lazy to do the research themselves was given the answer. If people were not posting every question in this book and actually had to look for the answers themselves, that would eliminate 1/2 the people in this contest. Some of the questions people have posted are so ridiculous. The question: When you reach 1139 you are 1/2 way there... I answered that question in less than a minute by adding 1139 + 1139= 2278. I typed 2278 into the search and it brought up Route 66. Something that simple should not have been posted.
On the other hand I can see some people might need help at some point, but it is a little ridiculous to post most of the questions on a website and just have everyone else answer them for you. I do not see a problem with one or two now and then, but people please have a little respect for yourself.... it is a contest.... wouldn't it feel better if you win the million because you actually did the work????/

I have created a forum specifically for the Marlboro Outwit the West challenge. Please go there. All of the questions have been created as topics. Feel free to put in what your ideas are even if you don't know the answer. Me personally, I wouldn't just take someone's word for it. I'd take their idea and then research it to make certain it is correct.
