The new spareEd is a devil for moving posts to obscure sub-sections. I suspect that it where that thread disappeared to briefly.

It could be it was deleted to allow various posts to be edited and then re-instated.

I know one of the EDs has said Mods cannot edit posts.

The EDs normally post to say they have moved a post to a different category.

But they post the notification in the new category so anyone looking in, say, News, for a thread, hasn't a clue where whatever they're looking for has been moved to. A pointless exercise.
