For some reason I'm sure you posted you had been a French teacher before you retired -must be mixing you up with someone else.
I was both. Law was my hobby, not my profession.

JD was a French teacher at a highly sort after independent school near me Aunt Polly but he could still hold a law degree
Bobbi you post just goes to show there are so many BAME that blame everything that happens to them as due to the colour of their skin. They don't get a job -its the colour of my skin not the fact my interview went wrong, can't get a bank loan -colour of my skin not the fact my credit score is next to non existent. Some white people more suited to a job get side lined for someone of colour because the company needs its 'Quota' of BAME. In my mind that's racism towards white people and its only going to get worse, I can see it coming. I have a BAME relative and am not racist -they have the same opinion as me -not all BAME people are the same.

Not even sure if the ‘ away team ‘ was BAME Aunt Polly ,more of a keyboard warrior
Did he use FB marketplace? My OH has had some really vile replies when he's asked valid questions about items for sale.
Question Author
Yes I think he did ,either that or Gumtree but if it had been the latter I’m sure he’d have put a radius
When I was working in the Civil Service I was often accused of being racist when a caller wasn't being told what they wanted to hear. How on earth I could see what colour skin they had down the phone line was always a mystery to me.
