When i was in Spain about 2 weeks ago, absolutley everyone was listening to this Shakira song and i have no idea what the title is!! Its sung in spanish, and the intro is just some drums in like a march. I know its vague but if you think you know please post! xxxxxxxx =]]

Right.... I was actually hoping the people who replied to this question would know the song i mentioned, as this is the purpose of the website, right? What I wasn't expecting was lame 'digs' about other people's taste in music, maybe you should go to the 'People & Places' thread, I expect there they'll let you know that not everyone in Spain listens to the same music, nor are they narrow-minded enough to just listen to one genre.

Cheers for the advice, i will take a look at the people and places thread and endeavour to find out more about the spanish people and their tastes. The idea of a whole country listening to Shakira quite frankly fills me with dread (i think she is right up there with communism as an evil that needs to be defeated!) I too listen to music from more than one genre, this may explain my hatred of Shakira. There is so much great music about and life is so short why settle for Shakira? (mediocrity is a sin)

Anyway if you still want to find out about Shakira (heaven knows why?) you could try looking on Amazon i believe they have a function where you can listen to the first 30 seconds of a song from an album, thus you may be able to deduce which song it is you require.

as the song is sung in Spanish, i would suggest you look on QAmazon.com, as the American site is more likely to have the latin version for the hispanic market.

Otherwise, check out itunes...do a search for Shakira and it will kick up all the Shakira tunes it has...including the Spanish versions. And it too has the facility to listen to 30 seconds of the tune.
