Pluto no longer a planet

Couldn't agree more. Whilst it is a shame to loose Pluto; sort of makes the solar system feel really small all of a sudden.....only 8 planets.

But that is vastly superior to adding lots of other objects, especially when one of them has always been considered as an asteroid, that would have felt like a real cop-out and cheapened the term 'Planet'.

Yes I agree, I think logic won in the end, the reasons are sound and the new planetary definition is welcome. I think though they should adopt the term "plutoids" in honour of the demoted planet, rather than the very dreary "Dwarf Planets"
