postage stamp fits the pattern but stamp is in the clue and it isn't an activity. Posting cards fits the pattern but not the clue

The fact that 'stamp' is in the clue and is the answer to a riddle suggests to me that the activity is something like, 'answering riddles'

Yes, something like that but the best I can think of for now is "solving clues ". Maybe it should be 5,7- solve riddles

It was given as 5 and 3 (presumably 5,3)
