I’m Sure This Is A Scam

I have received a text from sombody called eebill saying they couldn’t process my last payment. I have no idea what it is. There is a link (not touched it) for eebill-help. Surely it is a scam!
I had a phone call yesterday with a recorded message saying £300 had been taken out of my account. That was when I rang off!
I must be top of the list.

Yes you did right not to click on any link that you are doubtful about. And to put the phone down on calls like the sort you had. It is annoying though and worrying for some people.

It must be my day for scams First I had one purporting to be from amazon re amazon prime They said I owed seven nine Dot for something or other the other was telling me that my internet was going to be cut off unless I pressed a number These people get on your wick!

I keep getting emails from e-bay calling me 'Paulette', who the hell Paulette is I have no idea at all!

The scammers are bad in force. I’ve had 8 phone calls today. The one good thing about lockdown was not many scam phone calls.
