I only caught some of the programme that was on last night about families trying to get their children into private schools, any way possible, and found it quite interesting. I just wondered, the mother who was trying to get her son into the private school but couldn't afford it fully herself, so he had to sit the scholarship exam, it showed you them sitting eating, with a young girl, I guess his sister, but did they mention if she was at or going to go to a private school too? I just thought it a shame to be pushing one child and not the other. Thanks in advanvce
I'm not sure of the answer to that, but what disturbed me was that some of the parents were saying that it was really important to get into private school for their childs future, but also saying that the future of the family rested on that child success too!!
The reason she was pushing the boy and not the girl rhona , was that he was gifted , unusually intelligent for his age. It was so moving when she received the acceptance letter.
I could understand the concerns of most of the families , but I thought Mr. Shah was way too pushy with his son.
