there was a bit about this in the Times and I thought - 'well I can name around 5 Karens' in my life - no not only on AB. I have a truly terrible record on my posts being zeroed to day.
Karen's finger seems to be stabbing 'delete' button big time
(not to mention the white supremacist who objects for some reason to their views being described as white supremacist)

usual stream of gay banter:
Told by an idiot, full of sound and fury,. Signifying nothing. (Macbeth act iv I think )
but never mind boys and girls - what about:
Let us hear it for the Karens of AB – all forty or so of them
Times letter today: Dear SIr etc
.
May I suggest that Carol Midgley adds to her short list of famous Karens – Lets give Karen a break Times 2 Jul 20. she was an extraordinary woman by any yardstick and was memorable played by Merly Streep in the film of her book Out of Africa. An entire suburb of Nairobi was named in her honour. Yrs etc
in fact my mother (PP's late mama) knew Karen Blixen who spoke Angleesh like us. No finely crafted ango dannith accent as sported by our Meryl. Her awful luffa Feench – atton ( Denys Finch Hatton ) who did screw around as in the feelm, stole all her money and when it ran out left. Then he died. She left after the fire in the film and had to leeve by writing books. They also knew the Finch Hattons – yes the original was a favourite of Elizabeth ( Gloriana, the first that one). This proved very expensive
so one can be a Karen
and revel in it
