I do too, Tony...so much. The banter and fun with her and MrsO was wonderful...would love to have had more time with them both....... So much to thank AB for.....x
So special indeed, Mamya....night and sleep well..x
G'night Mamya x

Definitely was, gness.
Hi Gness, it's difficult not to rate Luke Kelly as the greatest Celtic performer there's ever been, and that's in competition with Ronnie Drew, Donnie Munro et al. Just brilliant!

The greatest indeed, Jim and a great loss...thank you for that.....The Auld Triangle.....I love it...x
Doris you made Blackpool Mecca worthwhile RIP.

Fickle I am.....walking along an Irish lane in the 60s I met a lad named Denis....a beautiful man who was the double of Luke. I fell in love. We were friends until he died trying to save a girl who was drowning in the sea.
Oh my! I have no good response to that, gness... :-(
No response needed, Jim thank you though. When I visit his grave in the Irish tradition he and I share a drink... I sup and then pour a tot on his grave and remember the fun we had at the crossroads dancing....x
Let me see if I can put a smile back on your face with one of our greats, Calum Kennedy, singing Dark Lochnagar, from Byron:

Away ye gay landscapes, ye garden of roses
In ye let the minions of luxury rove
Restore me the rocks where the snowflake reposes
If they still be sacred to freedom and love
Yet Caledonia how dear are thy mountains
And around thy white summits though elements may war
Though cataracts foam 'stead of sweet flowing fountains
I sigh for the valley of dark Lochnagar

Years have rolled on, Lochnagar, since I left you
And years will roll by ere I see you again
Though nature of verdure and flowers has bereft you
Yet still they are dearer than Albion's plains
England thy beauties are tame and domestic
To one who has roved o'er the mountains afar
Oh for the crags that are wild and majestic
The steep frowning glories of dark Lochnagar
You have. Thank you, Jim. X
