Who Remembers Cough Candy?
19 Answers
It looks like what I believe the Scots call Tablet, but it had a taste of perhaps menthol?? This link shows how to make Tablet but what would be added to make it taste like Cough Candy? It was smooth on the outside but crumbly inside whereas Tablet looks like it may have a soft fudge consistency.

Mamya, that is it Mrs Beightons Cough Candy. Unfortunately it doesn't say what the flavourings are. It says E150 which is the caramel colouring, but I'm still not sure of the flavour.
I was hoping that those who bake and make sweets would know the names of the flavourings that would have been added. Will keep looking.
