Please Help - Hatched Baby Goldfish (fry)
4 Answers
I've got about 30 eggs that hatched from my ornamental gold fish around 3 days ago. Right now, there are some that seem extremely weak and some still normal.
Can someone help me and tell me how I can take care of these little translucent 16th of an inch size with two black eyes fry?
At the moment, I am giving them powdered fry food. Nobody seems to sell any liquid food in Hong Kong.

If anybody out there knows exactly how to take care of these gold fish fry, please respond. I'm sure my gold fish will make more eggs soon.
This is the second batch I have killed! One piece of fry from last month and 30+ this month.
Thanx.

Thank you Boo for getting back. I actually kept going and looked around this site for more answers before I got any reply to my question. I found one person on this site introducing a site to another GF (Goldfish) lover and this was a site from America, and they are absolutely helpful bunch of people. http://www.kokosgoldfish.invisionzone.com/foru m/index.php?showforum=67
Sherry1...the answer to your question is "NO". Goldfish eat their eggs, even their fry (baby). They have to be separated once you find the eggs. As mentioned, look and read the site above to know more if you're interested with keeping GF or their babies.
