Hi does anyone know if the guitar solo johnny does in back to the future when their at the dance is an actual song, and if it is who sings it please, thanks
the moon under the water dance? where marty mcfly (as calvin klein) takes the guitar from Gerry Berry and platys Johnny B Goode and then Gerry rings his cousin Chuck berry?
I thought that, I also wonder if you have watched this film and probably missed all the references to the 50s, as in the one they use in that particular scene. If you have it is a shame, as it is a very clever script.
Although he was mistaken for Calvin Klein, his Mum says after the dance something like 'Marty, what a nice name' so he was probably Marty and not Calvin to them :)
Marty, as Calvin, after the song, and after his mom and dad's first dance together, meets them out on the stairwell and says 'if you guys ever have kids name one of them marty' or something like that, and his mum blushes.
DotH/DotHawkes - whilst Lorraine & Marty are sitting in the car before the dance (when he see's her drinking liquor) she constantly calls him Marty (Ch 14). Then after his stage performance Lorraine says "Marty, that was very interesting music". George also calls him Marty. Marty tells them if that they ever have kids and one of them set fires to the living room rug, then to go easy on him. Lorraine then says "Marty. Such a nice name". (Ch16) He doesn't mention naming a kid after him.
