I am baffled by why some of the BBC's best never sees the light of repeats ( let alone a DVD release ) . I'm thinking in particular of ' Only Joking ' starring Robert Bathurst from ' Cold Feet ' and written by Coupling's Steven Moffat. It went out 1991-1995 and I dont think it ever got a repeat.

I loved this series - it was soooo funny - especially the episode with the video camera (you had to see it to understand). Used to have me in stitches. I tried to find out if the series was ever released on video but apparently not. I believe the orginal tapes are now in permentant storage. What a shame.
See my answer above under "watching". What happened to Tutti Frutti, which I think was BBC?

The one with the Video Camera is one of my favourites too! LOL ! Up there with the one about the Ventriloquists Dummy ( You had to be there! ). You would have thought BBC could have spun out a release based on " From the writer of Coupling". At least the tapes are still around and havent been wiped! Ah, Tutti Frutti - another mysterious non-release. Loved that series, which had a fantastic cast and a wonderfully wry humour .
