I have applied for an upgraded bank account which gives me a better debit card. And they are allowing me to have a 100 overdraft. I have to go dwn tomorow and sort out the forms but i have to pay 100 into the bank account and leave it in for 24 hours. Why do i have to pay this in? is this my actual overdraft that i pay in or do i just pay this money in to prove i can afford to pay the over draft back? as when i opened a normal account i just had to put a couple of quid in.
Cheers :)

its probably just one of the conditions of the upgraded account, wouldnt think it has anything at all to do with the Overdraft limit, just a coincidence that both are 100
