My health centre have suspended ear syringing for the foreseeable and I was considering this 'miracle' device to give relief.
Has anyone used them and did they work?

By chance, the last time I visited my local pharmacy, the guy in front of me was talking to the pharmacist about removing ear wax. The pharmacist said that the drops he was recommending were every bit as good as syringing but just took rather longer to work.

I bought a smart swab over a week ago and so far it has not produced any wax regardless of the filthy Herberts in the ads who make heaps. I will keep going and think if I left it a few weeks there would definitely be something to remove, and if nothing is taken out can use the old method (don't ask) which works extremely well to see if it has missed anything.
My GP, or rather the nurse, was not available for an ear flush due to Covid.
Their advice: mineral or olive oil - couple of drops a day. 3rd day, done. It just popped out.
Hydrogen peroxide was NOT recommended.
Then again, what do they know ? For superior medical advice please consult your favourite random person on-line.
