Are you a regular bus user/

Have you noticed the steady decline in peoples manners? It's a regular scrum just to board the bus. I feel sorry for the older people, there's not a lot of respect for their generation anymore, not many will offer up there seat anymore. People swearing, litter strewn about, mobiles playing loud music regardless of others. Girls swearing, it's so bad! What are your experiences?

I regularly travel on the buses in my area and quite frankly they are awful .We now live in a rural area and I miss good old London Transport .

I am of an age where I am drifting towards my bus pass and I find the inconsideration given to fellow passengers of all generations awful in the extreme.
i would not hestitate to move out the way for a young Mum with a buggy ..after all I have been there and know how difficult it is coping with young children on a bus . On the other hand I am very arthritic and find having to stand excrutiatingly painful .Although people cannot see the pain in my hips !

Bad manners seem to be the norm these days ..but ..what can you do about it !!
I was always taught to give up my seat for less able people and would still do so for an elderly person our young Mum But .. when I stand while some young man sits there chatting into his mobile phone then I get totally peed off.
It's just another example of the way things are in society today.Total intolerance to other people and me me me !
