Humax Box Problems

I decided to retune to see if any new channels.
Did that ok. Then went through and deleted ones I didn't want, but that deleted everything. So had to install again. Tried again but still won't work. No I find a lot of the options on the menu are locked or not available. I have looked at the manual but cannot get any help there.
Anyone know what has gone wrong please.
