Daughter Coughing Up Blood Again

The doctor decided that she should have an emergency endoscopy and a colonoscopy and she did get a letter from the hospital stating that she would be seen within the next 18 weeks. Not quite what I would call an emergency appointment. She is still waiting. Glad to say that she has been fine in herself, no pain or discomfort. This morning without any warning she coughed up quite a lot of fresh red blood again. She's taken herself off to the hospital where thay have taken blood from her, she's in a bed with a canula in her arm and hopefully we might get some results soon. Worse bit is we are quite a distance from her so it is worrying.

Don't know ummmm, she just said a lot more than last time. I'll leave her to get home and have a rest and get more details later or tomorrow. Probably a couple of hours or so before she gets home.

They can't be too concerned if they've sent her home so try not to worry.

No pain is probably a good. I didn't feel pain before or while I was bringing up blood but I was in agony after.

Thanks for your concern ummmm. Will update as and when anything happens. Hopefully the next event will be the endoscopy.

Yes but probably about 25yrs ago.
