Printed on the dial, Francois Desire Odobez a Morez. Despues 1843.
The dial seems suspiciously clean, not a scratch on it, and hinges appear to be low quality.
Is it likely to be a reproduction?

Guess where a lot of these "antique" clocks come from? Yes, you're correct...China. Google the name Alibaba, and then search for "antique clocks" and check the prices and the minimum order quantity.

FF, batteries would be a powerful indicator it's not right.
I think it might have been cobbled together in a Chinese factory just a few weeks ago.
