don't know whether this is nationwide but our council has fixed signs on all our plethora of pedestrian crossings say "timing extended for covid 19" ??? what for, all pedestrian crossings are timed to allow a disabled elderly or other time to cross safely when the pedestrian crossing light indicates do not cross, now they have double the crossing time, holding up traffic backing up and blocking road entrance further back, if your so ill with covid then you should not be out at all

You book a slot a few days in advance (we've made 2 trips with no booking problems either time) and turn up in a half-hour slot - booking can be done online and there's no further declaration of what you're tipping. It works beautifully and I hope they make it permanent.
