Google Previous Searches

When I go onto google to make a search it gives a drop down menu of all previous searches,
It never used to do this so I'm guessing the settings have been changed. does anyone know how to change this as the lap top is used by other family members so also in need of privacy.

Seriously though pussyfoot, its worth creating separate logins for all users, so things like this don't happen. Also, any kids using it can have restrictions put on to keep them away from the nasty stuff.

It's usually very simple to do a clean of your search hostory, but I don't use chrome, so I can't help you.

what happpens if you right-click on any ot them? Does an X appear that you can click on to delete it?

Go on to Google.
Place the cursor in the address bar and left click.
You will see a list of sites visited.
Click left on each one and then press the X in the right hand corner.
Then it will be deleted.
Continue down the list.

Ok thank you that shows the searches with a little clock next to it. It’ll take a long time, but works. I thought there was a setting like the history one because I know how to do that. Thank you lots x

You could try this, but it will delete your internet history:
1.Click the windows icon
2. Click on settings (the small wheel)
3. Click on navigation and internet
4. Scroll down to Internet Options
5 When the panel appears, select the "General" tab
6 Select delete.
You will then be given options of what you wish to delete. I select everything, but the choice is yours. I do this every time I finish on the internet.
