I've Lost My Specs

I kept losing my reading glasses so I now have an 'old lady' chain hanging round my next, with my glasses clipped on it.

Do what I've done and buy a chain. Or, buy lots more pairs and strategically place them around the house.
I have a pair round my neck, a pair in the study, a pair in the bedroom and another pair in the kitchen. Only the ones around my neck are prescription, the others are off the shelf magnifying glasses.

That's what I do Tilly - I lost a pair last month and very much know they are in the house. But I ordered another two pair so that I'll always have a spare and an heir LOL.

I only started wearing mine permanently about 5 years ago and I absolutely hate having a "thing" on my face. Bobbi - I have only heard of laser treatment but not of the lens implant - was it painful and were you awake.

I do need specs but I decided to try contact lenses. After eventually getting them in I realised with horror how old I look. I immediately whipped them out and put my specs on. At least they cover a third of my face.

I think I have a spare of reading glasses in almost every room in our house plus two pairs in the car and one pair of prescription lens Ray-Bans in my travel grab bag.

A friend of mine lost her house keys. Had all the locks changed then found the keys in her peg bag!
