Does he like prawns or scallops?
If so make a paste of finely chopped red peppers, tomatoes and onion - sweat off for fifteen minutes on a low-medium heat. Cook the pasta of choice to instruction (fresh 3-4 mins), sear the prawns/scallops (2 minutes) and assemble, total time from goodies on the board to the pate 20 mins tops - and delish . Split the paste in two if you like chilli and garlic - before the sweat-down!
